A 'new-world style Languedoc', as Jean-Claude Mas would like to call it. As the name ‘mûres’ suggests, it's full of fresh, ripe blackberry and cassis liqueur, with graphite and smoky vanilla complexity. Ripe plums and black cherry flavours are joined by mineral and black pepper spice, with plush tannins and some acidity to support it. There's a spicy, warming mouthfeel on the finish. Aged for nine months in American oak (as Jean-Claude prefers for his reds)
